Haileybury Explicit Instruction is a highly structured method of teaching primary school literacy and numeracy that is also effective for online learning and teaching.
The Haileybury Explicit Instruction Programme is a new online-first professional development programme for teachers and schools. It is being made available to any teachers who wish to understand and implement the approach in their teaching and their schools.
The programme consists of seven courses organised into the Core Programme (courses 1-5) and the Advanced Programme (courses 6 & 7).
Each course has a playbook that outlines the concepts, video segments of explicit instruction in action in real classrooms created by Haileybury teachers, and other materials including toolkits.
